"The woman in seat 17" is a "category" for posts about music and concerts. I chose it in homage to the man in seat 61, who provides free travel advice for those who want to avoid planes when travelling. I was on row 10, seat 17 for a wonderful concert at the Concertgebouw, in Amsterdam, some years ago, when I first hit on the idea of writing about my opinions on music. And yes, it's taken a while before I finally wrote the first post in this category.

Het is een eerbetoon aan de man in stoel 61, die er zijn levenswerk van maakt om gratis advies te geven over reizen zonder vliegtuig. Ik zat enige jaren terug op rij 10, stoel 17 voor een concert in het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, toen ik voor het eerst dacht dat ik misschien mijn ideeën over muziek ook op het blog kwijt kon. Het heeft even geduurd eer ik dan eindelijk dat eerste bericht schreef in deze categorie, inderdaad.
